The guitar is all I can think of right now...

That distorted guitar is very grating, it distracts you and takes away from the enjoyment of the song. The percussion sounds a little empty, but the rest is fine.

Amazing!

There's an exotic, east Asian flavour in this song, it sounds nice. Then, the background instruments give it that feeling you get from Choco Mountain in Mario Kart 64.

Not bad...

I recognise the electric piano loop as being from GarageBand. :-) That's pretty cool, play it in an elevator or a lounge.

Ahh, Tetris...

Nice music! I'm into video game music, now do one à la Video Games Live: with an orchestra. I saw that show once, it's amazing.

Has nothing to do with anything Latin, but pwns

Absolutely no Latin influence whatsoever, but the Middle Eastern stuff in this just pwns. Sitar, and maybe some darbuka or doumbek for the percussion? I don't really care if it's not Latin, it sounds great!

Pelemus-McSoy responds:

If I could change the name, I would, but sadly, this was added before the NG upgrade, so it's stuck like this.

I'm glad that the name does not influence feeling of the song!

Percussion, anyone?

It's a good song, but a nice, easy clave would be good. A little more bolero influence couldn't hurt, either.

So... grating...

The horrible squeak of sped-up guiros and such is just too much for me. Try doing something more, well, interesting with it.

Hmm... I like it.

The pace of this song is interesting, I feel like playing a Sonic game when I hear it. Pretty good!

My thoughts...

The traditional sort of spirit that flows through me when I listen to music from a Mario game just isn't coming through to me. Perhaps a bit too much on the synthesizers?

BowserThedestructive responds:

Thanks ill make a revision when im done ill upload (Mushroom kingdom 2(Remix 2) that has las synthesizers and alittle more classic piano guitar maybe :) it wil be good :)

¡Muy sabroso!

Really liked this one. A little more continuity of the melody would be nice (as in, not a few seconds of horns and piano and then twice that amount of time in percussion only.) Percussion is great, but don't overuse it or people might lose interest.
