when we had that worm. It was the most annoying thing EVER.
My sister and I got Macs and now we're happy. We'd both used and loved Macs before, so we were excited getting brand-new ones.
Reminds me of...
The minigame, what was it, Quick Smack? It was something of a quick nature, and you just pressed A when the !! appeared. This is a nice Flash port of that game, well done.
This is rather boring and hard to use, what I'd like to see follows:
%u2022 Fix the bugs, navigation is important!
%u2022 These little clips don't really make much sense, I don't have the attention span to watch the entire thing. I want something engrossing, something absorbing that I can follow and enjoy.
- The bugs are not my fault. They are most likely caused by the downloading system used trough NG or something. The thing is, it works fine on NG Log itself and on my PC.
- Short clips are the purpose of a Bytesize flash. If you want a story, this isn't the place to be.
Thanks for the review anyway :P
Just way too hard...
I like the game, but it's way too hard! The highest score I can get is 1160. It would be one of those addicting games you can't stop playing... except I put it down in 10 minutes because it's too hard.
No, just... no.
I fail to see any kind of rhythm or relation to the song being played in regard to the arrows. It might be a sort of 'timed' Simon Says, but there's nothing musical about this game besides maybe some background music. I also noticed that if you press one of the keys when you don't have to, it lowers your rating considerably, unlike in DDR. Much too hard for anybody to play, as it isn't musical like the name of the game and author comments bill it.
Uh... major bug.
I tried loading a game I left off on. That was fine, and my computer (in-game, I use a Mac so it can't blow up) did blow up. OK, fine. I hit load and chose to resume, and I resume straight from the "Game Over" screen, so that it is impossible to play- I'm basically loading a dead computer. I tried starting a new game with several usernames, but the same stuff happens as when I left off, even with the same money. Really frustrating, and I was liking this game too. It's sad that I can't play it now.
And don't tell me to clear my cache, because I've cleared all internet-related caches already.
The guitar is all I can think of right now...
That distorted guitar is very grating, it distracts you and takes away from the enjoyment of the song. The percussion sounds a little empty, but the rest is fine.
There's an exotic, east Asian flavour in this song, it sounds nice. Then, the background instruments give it that feeling you get from Choco Mountain in Mario Kart 64.
I recognise the electric piano loop as being from GarageBand. :-) That's pretty cool, play it in an elevator or a lounge.
